Thanksgiving at Country Biscuit Shop

November 24th 2011 Thanksgiving - New traditions. Many hands got together to prepare food for 420 plates to be delivered to area Rest Homes. Turkey wasn't on the menu but the chicken was great. Accompanied by mashed potatoes, string beans, roll and butter and a piece of cake. Work starts every year on Wednesday afternoon preparing the food. Then the assembly line began around 10. We missed our team captain Jeff Ipock, the owner of Country Biscuit Shop. Families get older and our time with them is precious.

World Wide Church Without Walls and over 25 eastern North Carolina Churches unite to bring free drama to the public! People Get Ready! Destination Unknown? I believe God was pleased when He saw different parts of the body uniting in His glory delivering a message of urgency. The message is clear if you do not accept Him as your savior you will spend an eternity in hell. A personal relationship with God can be one of the easiest decisions you make in your life. Are you ready to meet your maker?

Destination Unknown?  If there is any doubt in your mind on where you will be going when you die you really need to come with an open heart to view these God Inspired dramas brought to you by 24 local churches.  The body of Christ is uniting for the harvest of souls here in eastern North Carolina.  Fran Giummule, Patty Clark and a host of many have organized this event to be held at Union Point in New Bern, North Carolina.  We're schedule for August 27th at 7:00 and at this point we're not sure if Hurricane Irene will interfere or not.  God is still in control regardless of the date that this event occurs.  We'll keep you informed as time progresses.
